Philippine Embassy Opens Consular Section this Weekend
May 5th, 2007 | By pam | Category: NewsThe Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy will be open this Saturday and Sunday, 12-13 May 2007, from 10:00 A.M. till 6:00 P.M., to provide passport, notarial and authentication services to our kababayans who are unable to come to the Embassy on weekdays.
Since the Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) for the 2007 Senatorial and Party-List Elections began on 14 April 2007, the Philippine Embassy has opened its Consular Section to accommodate our kababayans who wish to vote at the same time avail of consular services.
All registered overseas Filipino voters in Greece who are unable to vote on weekdays are hereby encouraged to come to the Embassy this weekend, the last weekend of the OAV to cast their votes.
Proceed to the second floor of the Philippine Embassy and present either of the following: Voter’s ID, Philippine Passport, Embassy ID, OWWA ID or PAGIBIG ID.
Last day of the voting period is 14 May 2007 until 10:00 A.M. only (3:00 P.M., Manila time). Counting of the ballots will immediately follow. The Philippine Embassy welcomes those who are interested to observe the counting and canvassing of ballots.
