Authentication Services

The Embassy performs authentication services to attest to the genuineness of the signatures appearing on the following documents that will be used or presented in the Philippines, other embassies or consulates, or any other foreign legal entities:

  1. Documents executed in Greek and officially translated to English by the Translation Office of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
  2. Documents from the Philippines that have been authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila (e.g. Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, NBI Clearance, Police Clearance, etc.); and,
  3. POEA Employment Contracts verified by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Athens, Greece.

The Embassy assumes no responsibility for the content of these documents.

REQUIREMENTS AND PROCESSING PERIOD

The documents for authentication must be submitted to the Consular Section’s Frontline Processing Service together with its photocopy. The processing time for authentication is two (2) days upon receipt of documents and payment.
