The Embassy performs notarial services for Filipino citizens in Greece who need to execute affidavits, Special Power of Attorney (SPA), and other legal documents that will be used and presented in the Philippines.
The Embassy also notarizes the following documents:
- Affidavits executed by persons applying for replacement of lost passport; and,
- Affidavits of Parental Consent or Advice executed by parents of Filipino citizens between 18 and 25 years old applying for Marriage License (Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage), provided the parents are residing and working in Greece.
The Embassy assumes no responsibility for the contents of these documents.
REQUIREMENTS AND PROCESSING TIME
Individual(s) executing a legal document must appear in person at the Embassy. He/She must present a valid Philippine Passport and accomplish the required legal forms which are available at the Embassy’s Consular Section and on this site (Downloadable Forms). He/She may also be asked to submit additional requirements should the need arises.
The processing time for notarization of documents is two (2) days upon receipt of complete requirements and payment.
